For today, write a poem about something you lost.
Keys (I left mine at work yesterday). Sweater (on a bus in Mexico). Socks (in the dryer, recurring). My recommendation? Stay away from youth or sanity–or use the keys, sweaters, socks, etc. as a metaphor for them.
Honestly, it’s kind of eerie how these daily prompts can unfold. Although I posted all these prompts before the start of the month, I haven’t checked ahead (promise!). But when I look at today’s prompt and then back at the poem I wrote yesterday–yes, it’s kind of eerie.
*** Poem fom day 24 (up about a day–and then “poof”, it will be gone) ***
poof
(This poem had a lost earring, the lone earring leftover–and it wasn’t about earrings really.)
