Lately when I feel too overwhelmed or down or just plain tired, I think about grocery shopping years ago with my son.
He was riding in the shopping cart, and I was stalled in the aisle, trying to decide whether to buy a pork roast.
“Do it!” he said. “Come on, Mom, you can do it!”
My cheering section.
Everyone needs someone in their corner sometimes, even if that someone’s a four-year-old. Someone who will give you a pep talk, even if you’re just looking for the right word or wondering what to cook for dinner.
Come on. You can do it.
