Black Friday poetry give-aways, and Small Business Saturday with books

Martha Silano’s giving away two copies of The Daily Poet this Friday. She’ll tell you all the details, but it’s easy and it involves no malls. You don’t even have to leave your sofa.

I love this idea, so I’m stealing it.

Leave a comment on this post, and you’re automatically entered to win a copy of Into the Rumored Spring. On Friday, I’ll number the comments, write the numbers on slips of paper, and then get Tom to draw one from the box. I’ll contact the winner and get your book in the mail to you.

Just add your comment, and then swing on over to Martha’s Blue Positive blog to enter her giveaway.

And please keep Into the Rumored Spring in mind when you’re looking for gift ideas, because the author proceeds are donated to Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (one of my favorite checks to write).

Then venture out on Saturday to join the fun. Book authors are going to be in independent book stores to help you shop! Elizabeth Austen has the Seattle details, and here’s an interactive map for the continental U.S.
